Finally Home!

Well, Michelle finally got home wednesday. She was still hurting when they let her go and thowing up. When we got home, she stopped throwing up. She was able to sleep through the night. She had not eaten this whole time, but now she is on her way to recovery. You can tell she lost weight, but not the good way. She lost muscle! She is slowly getting her legs walking again.My parents came from Texas to visit Michelle too. Wow! My mom in a wheel chair too. They made it safe. Tomorrow I work and I will miss them all day. I am happy they are here. They will help a lot with Zelina. Yay!

Welcome Home! Mar 6

I was called by the dr today at work and said he would discharge Michelle today! So I told my boss and she let me go. I went to pick up Michelle and then I dropped her off at home got Zelina then bought her about 8 different medicines. Came home ...got Zelina a snack...then got her to bed ..did the dishes...cleaned up after the dog..and I am finally able to update everyone... Sorry. I must have had been in the zone... I am happy Michelle is home...I am taking the day off tomorrow.<cough cough> The nurse is coming to the house tomorrow (wednesday mar 7th) , but I don't know what time. I can't imagine the nurse will be there really early, but not sure if morning or afternoon.I plan on picking up Zelina tomorrow since I will be able to be there. Michelle is still yuky. She has a backed up large intestine that they are trying to treat with stool softener. Also still on some pain meds and anti-depressants. Interesting stuff. Hope everything goes well for you all today.

New room!

Michelle is now located on the nurological floor.Room# 714904-202-1312 nurse station904-202-2704 MichelleIt seems that her diagnosis is again unknown!The dr says she doesn't have Empty Sella Syndrome, or Pseudotumor Cerebri Syndrome!She is structurally sound. They seem not to have any further reason for another MRI. Is God healing this through prayer? Everything is coming back normal! She is starting her therapy to get stronger to come back home and is staring to eat again slowly. Her headache is still there though. But there have been some improvement today! We continue to thank Jesus for the good reports and continue to pray for Michelle's recovery. We still don't know when she is getting out of the hospital. We love you all!Thank you!

Some improvement!

Hi everyone,
We went to see Michelle today. She started out with her eyes closed and they brought out her lunch. We managed to open her eyes from 3pm on till night with lights on. She was able to eat 2 or 3 bites of a chicken tender. She felt queezy, so they gave her some meds.. They gave her some pain meds too and rested. Later she had a couple of bites of some salisbury steak and some mashed potatoes, but she threw up and they gave her some anti-nausea medicine too late. We cleaned up and left her resting as she was dry heaving (threw up twice)... But she felt better after the meds. We went home and she just called at 10:30p and said they were moving her. No update on the new room yet. We will keep you posted.

I called at 10am

I spoke with the nurses. They said Michelle was doing her spinal tap finally. I was not able to speak with her before.
